The future as it was painted in the middle of the last century: riveted metal, valves, round hatches and a pastel palette with one bright patch. Pictures come out brisk and inventive, a mechanic at a hatch wheel, a technician by a machine in the grass, a dish antenna in the desert. The series is five installations of one station, with a person at work in every frame.
