Hand-drawn Celtic animation: a shaky pencil outline, gouache laid over paper grain and an earthy range of moss, peat and ochre. Figures are flattened, eyes huge and round, ornament creeps along the edges of the frame. The series is five frames of one tale: the wide view, the doorway, the face close, the empty place and the hour that follows.
