Classic ink work on rice paper: a wet wash, a dry combed stroke, pale depth and one rare patch of colour. Pictures come out contemplative, a plum branch across the sheet, a pine on a cliff, a waterfall left as bare paper. The series is an album of separate sheets on one theme: a branch, a rock, water, a tree in fog, a figure seen from behind.
