Ink over a damp wash: a torn pen contour laid over a patch of colour, the paint running past the line, cream paper working as the light. Pictures come out warm and full of travel, a skater, a car with a blot of smoke, a street with wires and a tram. The series is one hero's road in five scenes: a single palette of three or four colours and one warm accent.
